 DOG OWNERS will be responsible for any injury or damage done by their dogs. Dogs are limited (2) per camp. $10.00 fine for first warning after complaint. Second complaint or refusal to pay fine will result in expulsion from rendezvous. You are responsible for your dog’s waste. Do must be on leash at all times. 2008 RENDEZVOUS GENERAL
INFORMA TION AND RULES. PLEASE READ!

- 8PM, Sat. 5/3 - Sun. 5/4 8AM - 6PM. GATE CLOSED MON., TUES., WED. 5/5 -5/7. Thur. 5/8 8AM - 6PM, Fri. 519 8AM - 8PM, Sat. 5/10 8AM - 6PM. Sun. 5/11 no manned gate hours, gate open, no public in please. All camps must be out by 7PM Sunday 5/11
 
CAMPERS: All campers must register. Camping in primitive section, it is required to be in period outfits and have period gear. •Tin-tipi area will be available.
• Scout fees are $2.00 each in uniform and scout leaders $5.00 in uniform. Special camping area available for scouts.

TRADERS: Set up permitted 2 days before camp opens, Tues. 4/29. Out on Mon. 5/12 by 2PM. All traders must display trader ribbons at all times. All traders must be in period correct clothing and all goods must,be between 1700 and 1840 time period.  Blanket Traders limited to $500.00 value on blanket with no restocking allowed, this will be enforced. No plastic! No selling of illegal animal parts. All Traders may be asked for a donation for prizes. Trade commissioner has final judgment call.

CAMP RULES AND INFORMATION: Camp meeting daily at 6PM. (Public welcome).
• Daily events and schedules will be posted.
• Bring your own water. Haul out your own trash.  Porta-Potties will be provided.
• During rendezvous, loading and unloading vehicle in primitive area is limited to 1 hour. Once In Once Out rule applies. Unload your vehicle, park and then set up camp. Saving spaces for other people is not allowed. Drive slowly through camp, under 5 MPH. • Parents will be held responsible for any injury or damage done by their children. • No horses or mules may be on the site, by request of the property owner.  Open fires are allowed in the Primitive Camp only. Due to High Fire Hazard, ground fires may be disallowed without prior notice, be prepared with alternative.  Some firewood available, downed dead wood only.  10 feet must be cleared around your fire pit.  Avoid placing under trees, near brush or by other fire hazards. An adult must be in attendance of fires at all times or fire will be put out. Keep shovel and water bucket on hand at all times. Do not burn trash in your fire pit. Remove all traces of your fire upon leaving. No open fires or barbecues allowed in tin-tipi area! Coleman or propane stoves only. Water buckets and fire extinguisher mandatory in tin-tipi area.  Firearms: Black powder, muzzle loading, round ball only. Open sights only, no painted sights or optical aids.  No new style-black-powder firearms allowed.. Shooting glasses and/or earplugs are REQUIRED.  No smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed on ranges. Period dress required for all events, except open range. Open range hours will be posted. All powder will be loaded from a powder measure, never directly from a horn or flask. All shooting will be from a- shooting pouch or person, not from boxes or powder cans. Re-entries for events will be blanket prize or cash buy in. Event rules will be posted. No aggregate or Top Shooter shoot off events. Daily events Wednesday through Saturday. • Period archery equipment welcome. No composite bows, sling shots, pellet guns, modern cartridge guns, etc. • This is to re-create the pre 1840 era by day & night. All visible gear in the primitive area is to be reasonably authentic in material and design. Cover up your coolers and other modern chests. No aluminum lawn chairs, Coleman lanterns, plastic bags or tarps, etc. • Problems shall be brought to the attention of the booshway or a dog soldier. Anyone discharging a firearm in camp area or demonstrating unacceptable behavior will be immediately removed from the rendezvous. No loaded fire arms in camp area. Loaded means any powder down barrel.   Hope you have a great time!
